JEML Designs

JEML Designs was formally and officially founded in January of 2019. Whoa – sounds super brand new, right? Well, while the name and “official-ness” is new, I’ve been doing crafty things for several years now… So many that I really can’t give you a set-in-stone date. Anyway, I’m sure you’re wondering where the name JEML comes from and what it means? Simply put, it’s family. We have had those letters on our wall for almost 6 years… Jonas, Elizabeth, Micah, and Levi.

All of my crafty things are done in the ever-elusive “free time” that I have, which, if you’re like me, doesn’t really exist. I have two degrees from and work full-time at Auburn University (War Eagle!), and then I come home and work full-time as a mom to two amazing boys. I’m married to my college sweetheart – almost 17 years! I have no idea how three males go through so many clothes, but I swear all the laundry I do belongs only to them. I have like, 4 things in the wash each week… but I digress…

Where were we? Ah, yes. A little more about myself, I guess? Born and raised in Alabama, lover of reading, history, the lake/beach, warm weather, squishy animals (real or stuffed!), and my bed.

I suppose that’s it. Although my husband might disagree, I’m a pretty open book and sometimes honest to a fault. Now, let’s get to crafting, building, printing, and pressing!
